Minnesota School Counselor of the Year Award Nominations

MSCA is proud to recognize the outstanding contributions of school counselors across the state through our annual School Counselor of the Year awards. This prestigious honor celebrates excellence in school counseling at three levels: Elementary, Middle Level, and High School. From these award recipients, one individual will be selected as the Minnesota School Counselor of the Year the following year.

Nominees for this award must demonstrate a deep understanding and application of the ASCA National Model and have made significant contributions to developing or enhancing school counseling programs that support students’ career, personal/social, and academic growth. We seek counselors who show leadership, advocacy, and a commitment to promoting equity, access, and rigorous educational opportunities for all students.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong collaboration with stakeholders, maintain the highest standards of personal and professional conduct, and be a role model in their community.

Nominate an exceptional school counselor today and help us recognize those who are shaping the future of our students!

More information about nomination criteria and process can be found on the nomination form below.
